Wow, this is what awful customer service is like. I ordered two pairs of shoes, and they sent the wrong pair of shoes. The other pair looked nothing like the picture. When I emailed them telling them that I wanted a refund, they said they did not think that would benefit them. I find it unbeneficial that they sent me the wrong pair of shoes. They didn't even offer to give me a refund even though their website says they will. When I demanded one, they said they could but that they would not pay for shipping even though they sent me the wrong order. But it was either that OR they were going to give me a $6 compensation for a $140 purchase LOL. This company sucks and I will never order from them again.
I ordered a pair of shoes that were to large as they stated to order a size larger if you have wider feet. When I went to exchange them they had on 1 pair in my style in my size I needed. i called to exchange them for a different style and was told by Katherine they didn't do that. You had to exchange for the same exact style even if they were the same cost. I will not order from them again. Very poor customer service!

I love the look of the sneaker shoe and the insert. However, the shoe slightly rubs on the top of my foot and it has become irritated. I also love that they are designed to go in the wash. I ordered the shoe in white and it gets dirty very easily.
TLDR: My Rothy's lasted 4 days before they were destroyed and Rothy's did not care. Rothy's are not inexpensive. I bought a pair of sandals in March - excited to wear them once the weather started getting warmer. I went on vacation in May and wore my new Rothy's sandals over the course of 4 days. 2 of 4 days, I stayed in my hotel and either was barefoot or reclining by the pool. The other two days, I wore my sandals out and about for most of the day. After 4 days, the heels of the soles had totally eroded away. I contact Rothy's thinking this had to be some sort of defect. Their response was to offer me a discount on a future purchase - as if it's not insulting to suggest I'd be appeased enough to buy another pair of shoes that didn't even last a week. Shoddy quality products that they either can't or won't stand behind, shady business practices, and a poor customer experience.
I have 3 pairs and they fit wonderfully. You can probably get something similar elsewhere but no complaints. I have not had to deal with customer service so I can not speak to that issue. If there is an issue I would probably hesitate future purchases. They should get on the ball if they want to stay in business.
Be careful with Rothys company. I bought a pair of shoes to large exchanged them to a different style and to large. Requested a refund and they would only provide store credit. They are not people first! I can’t wear the shoes and stuck with a $130 credit. They say full refund if not satisfied they do not stand behind there advertised policy!!! Not worth the hassle! Shop elsewhere!
I love rothys shoes, been a customer for 4 years, but their customer service is aweful. Yes, there is a pandemic, but don't tell me to wait over 20 business and come back after that time period to get a resolution to then have rothys customer tell me to wait a few more weeks and then contact them again. What a joke. Filled a claim with paypal. Thank goodness for PayPal protection.
I ordered a Christmas gift for my mom on December 10th, with a promise of Christmas delivery. The deliver date was December 17th. We had a snow storm that day so I figured they would come in the next day. After a few more days, nothing. I checked the tracking and now it says delayed and arriving late. After contacting Rothys, they said to wait an additional 48 hours to see if the "tracking " has updated as it should. 48 hours later, nothing. I contacted again and they said I must wait a full 14 business days (which now brings us to January 2021) to request a replacement or refund. So, I now have no Christmas gift, when I was guaranteed Christmas delivery. They have already taken my money. They blame the mail carriers and the pandemic. However, if you know the mail carriers are overwhelmed, then you should not be guaranteeing delivery just to line your pockets. I've never experienced such careless customer service. Not to mention one you can't call.
I first saw a friend wearing Rothy's and after hearing they use recycled material, I decided to give them a try. I am obsessed with the yellow "The Point" shoes, they look great with my predominantly blue/navy wardrobe. For my birthday the following year, I received a "The Flat" pair as a gift, but the fit was not the same (for wider feet like me, I would recommend sizing up on "The Point" by a half size in comparison to "The Flat"). Through personal circumstance, I missed the return window of 30 days. On day 53, I contacted their customer service to see if they would still accept the return or give me a size swap. The person I spoke to on the phone was super helpful, and he didn't make me feel bad for missing the return window, which was my fault. Since the style I had was no longer available, they credited me a gift card, which was great! I really appreciate the exception they made for me, and the shoes are just amazing.

It should have been delivered by 11/2/20
But apparently if you choose ground shipping it can take up to 20 days !!!! Where is that written ????? Of course they need to blame the pandemic , which excuse me ? The pandemic had been going on for 9 months , get your business practices in order or you will be shutting your busing down .

I ordered two pairs of shoes from Rothys 2 months ago.. I received them, and decided I needed a different size in one pair and a different color in the other pair... During this, my husband had emergency surgery and I forgot about the shoes with everything going on..the box is still in my closet, shoes in box still just the way they arrived .i called the melrose place store this morning to explain my situation and say I did not want to return anything, just To please exchange them and they've never been out of the box.. A darling person named Libby told me it shouldn't be a problem but I would have to speak to the manager..She put Austin on, who flat out told me he couldn't help me and I could have returned them online in the allotted time.. I explained I only wanted to exchange them... he didn't care... who acts like that during a pandemic and when I had extenuating circumstances.. I am very upset about this ...I tried to call the natl customer service number but there was a recording that they were too busy..
Update ... customer service finally got back to me and the were very understanding and I can mail the shoes back and they will send me a gift card .... NEVER deal with Austin at the Melrose store ... he has NO customer service ability and gives his company a bad name
UPDATE 11/10/20-Rothy’s did finally grant a one-time exception to their policy and accept the handbag return and issue a full refund. I still encourage everyone to be WELL AWARE of their return policy before making a purchase.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: If I could give NO STARS I would. WARNING! Beware of Rothy’s return policy. Unlike every other retailer, Rothy’s does not give you “30 days” to try their product and return it if you don’t like it. I bought The Handbag for $350. After receiving it and finding it lacked structure, I decided to try it for a couple of days to see if, when filled, it would “stand up”, but it did not. When I tried to return the bag, with no evidence of use at all except that I had removed the tag, Rothy’s put me through a process with the hope of a “one-time return exception” only to deny the return because the tag had been removed. Be sure to fully understand the Rothy’s return policy before making a purchase. They really don’t have a true return policy.
